I have worked in several areas: schools, a few years in Matrimandir, Savi and since the last two years at the Entry Service. As i came here at a quite young age, i like to try different things and see where i could bring something and where i could find myself growing.

It is a difficult topic; how to "evaluate' if someone is ready or not to join Auroville as Mother can see much than we can...If only we were able to see differently...I think i would like to see a better balance in between the material requirements and a true Aspiration.
What skills can you offer, if you are selected in the new Entry Board? How can you best contribute and be in service?
As i was already working in the Entry Service before the Entry Board was put into place; i know quite well the work that the Entry Board is doing. I think that my experience and my youth could, perhaps, bring a different energy to the group and i could be a good link with others at the ES as i all know them and their work.
What are your aspiration and vision for this work?
I would like that the Entry Board exposes more the Newcomers to the reasons why Auroville is and Mother and Sri Aurobindo's vision of the future.

Yes, I am already part of the present Entry Board. I have been experiencing for one year the entry process of new applicants joining Auroville. For me its very interesting work and would like to continue.

What are your aspiration and vision for this work?
To welcome new applicants with an Aurovilian spirit with positive energy and guide them through their process and integrate into our Auroviie Community. To treat any candidate as a applicant and evaluate their intention to join Auroville with truer aspiration. I start with half time may change into full time.

Which domains have you worked in at Auroville? And what are other areas of your interest?
I have been working in administration and accounts in Auroville service organization for past 35 Years. I felt to change and get different experiences and gain knowledge for my inner growth and development. As am already in present Entry Board I see big changes within me and felt I was in a bubble for all these years for which I regret so much. Its learning and enriching experiences which am going through with present Entry Board. I thank and grateful to the community for giving me this opportunity.

Matrimandir, where I work every day . the school ( Oli school and Deepam ) . to be mentor, I start the mentoring in July 2016 ... and before I worked in many place, for example: I founded " Nirmiti project - land art in 2013 at the BG where a lot of school came to learn Land-Art ... I worked at the accommodation service during one year and a half, more then two year at the Guest Service, in these two services I clearly understood what the future applicant would do in AV, or his misunderstanding about the goal of AV. and with these works I have been ready to be mentor , and now for to participate at the Entry Board.

What skills can you offer, if you are selected in the new Entry Board? How can you best contribute and be in service?
During some years in the accommodation service and in the guest service , I develop my discernement to understand the deep reasons of an applicant for to be Aurovilian, my skill is to act with Insight what I must to do, in one word; in full consciousness, since two years and a half I have been mentor of 12 mentees, I like to be with them constantly as a friend to help them at the beginning and during their whole procedure, to support them if they are involved or also to push them to be more conscious about our goal. so now I would like to put my experience as mentor at the service of the Entry Board.
What are your aspiration and vision for this work?
I met so many time my 12 mentees, I follow them during more than 2 years, I think to know what they feel, and I would like now to be more near of the admissions of them and also to be available inside the Entry Board to help the present and future Mentors in their task, I know that some Aurovilians are a little bit afraid to start this task ... and I feel to be ready for to be a part of the EB ..... 🙂

I have worked in Auromode and i was executive and managed Ecoservice.
I am interested in secretary level, arrange meetings, i can go to places to check the where the newcomers are staying address and report to our group members.

1. The Newcomer period should be short and feedback should be extended according the numbers, for example for single person should short time and for couple should be medium and for families should be longer.

Try to elaborate solutions for facilitating access to Auroville for sincerely good-willing young persons, even if with little initial money to invest.
Also, study some solution for aspirant Aurovilians from the immediate bio-region.

My main job is as webmaster (content manager) of the Auroville.org website, also taking care of social network pages and groups, related to Auroville and to Sri Aurobindo. Documenting in video and photo the various activities that take place in Auroville, as documentation for people outside with a sincere interest in our development in all fields

As I said, I think that some solution is to be studied for young sincere potential Aurovilians with not enough financial means, and for Aspirants from the villages included in the Greenbelt.

All secretarial skills.
Conducting interviews and sharings with the applicants, aspirants and Newcomers in order to understand them and help them in their process of choosing Auroville as their place of stay and service. Help them integrate in the community on different levels - from administrative to ideological.
To be a group player is very important when working in a group. To understand each other's views and to arrive at a harmonious conclusion is very much essential - I believe I can contribute positively to this process. I served the Entry Board for more than a year. Confidence has been built within to be of service to this essential function of the community. There is a lot to say about the detailed function of Entry Board for which I feel comfortable with my available skills. It is not only the skills that are needed, the values also. I feel comfortable with the requisite values too.

I came to Auroville in 1995 and I nave been living here ever since. I have been working in various area: green work, languages and mostly education. I have been the mentor of many newcomers and I was part of the Aspiration programme team. I like to share my experience and challenges and I usually have a good contact with visitors aspiring to understand Auroville and the Integral Yoga on a deeper level.

To increase the community of Auroville, I will like to help the bioregion of the city to be more representative. I would like to learn more following the mentoring process where I am already part. I will be full time dedicated to the Entry Board with the spirit of equanimity.
