Why Participate?

The working groups are in an urgent need for new members, as some of them have finished their terms or resigned. This affects all of us.

During the selection process, each working group will present its mandate, its real work, its challenges and its needs. Then, each of the nominees will make a personal presentation and answer any question so that the participants will come to know, as far as is possible, the capacities and intentions of each nominee and his/her suitability to join the working group.

The Selection Process is a chance for residents to actively engage and take part collectively in preparing Auroville’s future. It also gives an opportunity to demystify what the Working Groups are, and understand better our current organizational structure and its dynamics.

Registered nominees(participants) are requested to attend the entire 2-days (all four half days) for consistency and cohesion.
